WHEN DID YOU COME TO SHELBINA?

We first came to Shelbina when I was in 8th grade about 9 years ago. My parents, Todd and Misty Kolars, decided to become houseparents at Shiloh.

I have lots of family everywhere since I grew up at Shiloh, so a ton of siblings. I’m super close with my brother and sister, Asher and Makenna.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST JOB?

Koch’s General Store in Macon, MO.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST VEHICLE?

A dark blue Ford F-150 named Hot Daniel. I will give 10$ to the first person who sees this and tells me what “Hot Daniel” is a reference to.

DO YOU HAVE ANY HOBBIES?

Playing guitar, piano, singing. I make Bible Tik Toks and YouTube videos. I’m quite a nerd, so I watch anime, read manga, and play video games.

READ ANYTHING GREAT LATELY?

“Fresh Wind Fresh Fire” by Jim Cymbala got me far more serious about prayer. “Gentle and Lowly” by Dane Ortland was awesome.
